1. Is Meaningful to You: Do the goals you set reflect your own interests rather than the interests of friends, parents, or teachers?
2. Focused on Personal Improvement: Are you really trying to master a skill or task rather than just trying to outperform other people?
3. Based on Data/Input: Are your goals based on the information you know about yourself? Do you adjust them when you get new information?
