Question/AnswerPoints
Essay:  Write a 3-part assertive statement to a teacher who falsely accused you of turning in your homework late.

Essay:  Write a 3-part assertive statement to a friend who keeps making plans with you and then cancelling at the last minute.
Student Answer:  Hey I know you wanted to hang out this Saturday and I want to to, but you are being inconsistent and I need you to be straight forward with me. Let's meet up tomorrow to talk about this situation.
Essay:  When you choose to be assertive, you won't always get everything you want. With that in mind, why should you still choose to communicate assertively? Provide two reasons.
Student Answer:  Yes I still would. It's important to hold your ground because you are your own person and you shouldn't let anyone tell you otherwise. This can cause others to have respect for you and can help with self confidence aswell.
