Essay: Imagine that you are struggling to learn a concept in math. Provide brief descriptions of how you would address the first two components of self-regulation to work towards improving your learning.
Student Answer: If I was struggling to learn a concept in math I would look at my notes and the example questions and then attempt a few practice problems checking the answer after each one and if I still could not grasp the concept I would look up a Khan Academy video and follow along with it then I would try a couple of practice problems checking my work after each problem again. If I notice I still do not understand I would look up another video and reveiw the steps to complete the conception until I understand. When I do grasp the concept I would then add steps to my notes that helped me understand to help me study in the future. |
