Student Answer:  I turned my homework in yesterday at the end of class. Maybe you just set it down and forgot about it, could you please keep an eye out for it.
Essay:  Write a 3-part assertive statement to a friend who keeps making plans with you and then cancelling at the last minute.
Student Answer:  If you can't commit to a plan that we made then could you just not make plans with me. It would also be a lot easier if you didn't cancel them last minute. If you don't mind will you work on trying to commit to things.
Essay:  When you choose to be assertive, you won't always get everything you want. With that in mind, why should you still choose to communicate assertively? Provide two reasons.
Student Answer:  You should communicate assertively because you can get your point across easier. People will most likely listen to you if you are being assertive.
