Student Answer:  I understand that things sometimes come up, but when you have something planned beforehand, you should really prioritize it over whatever came up if you are able.
Essay:  When you choose to be assertive, you won't always get everything you want. With that in mind, why should you still choose to communicate assertively? Provide two reasons.
Student Answer:  You should let the other person know how you feel about an issue so that they can understand your side of the story. Also, it shows the other person that you understand where they are coming from.
