Essay: Imagine that you are facing a challenge and you are not sure you can be successful. Name three things you could do to raise your belief in yourself.
Student Answer: I think of harder things I've done that I managed to get through. For example, Chemistry Honors. It was hard but I managed to pass and get good grades. And then I think of of difficult math tests I took that I got a decent score on. And I think of jokes to make me feel less stressed. I also say in my head that, "If I don't succeed, it's not the end of the world. I can keep trying and eventually things will go how I want it." |
