Student Answer:  I understand you sometimes need to cancel when you make plans with me, but when you do that, I feel hurt. I want you to make plans with me only when you can keep them.
Essay:  When you choose to be assertive, you won't always get everything you want. With that in mind, why should you still choose to communicate assertively? Provide two reasons.
Student Answer:  It makes all parties feel better about the situation. Everybody meets in the middle and nobody looses.
