Essay:  Write a 3-part assertive statement to a teacher who falsely accused you of turning in your homework late.
Student Answer:  In 5th grade my social studies teacher told me I did not turn in my assignment. I told her three days later that I turned it in. That day we looked for it and I found it in the bottom of her basket.
Essay:  Write a 3-part assertive statement to a friend who keeps making plans with you and then cancelling at the last minute.
Student Answer:  You should tell that friend that if they where a good friend then they would want to hang out with you. If they say that you are actually friends. Then you say (ok let’s hang out this weekend.)
Essay:  When you choose to be assertive, you won't always get everything you want. With that in mind, why should you still choose to communicate assertively? Provide two reasons.
Student Answer:  If you still are assertive if you did not get what you want it will make you sound like a good person. You will probably have a better chance of getting what you want it you are assertive.
