I know that you might think you’re correct, but I know that I did it and it angers me that you have so little expectations for ,e as a student and it concerns me that you have a lack of responsibility when it comes to keeping track of important papers. |

Student Answer: Hey, I know that things come up and we both have busy life’s. However, it hurts my heart when you cancel on our plans together last minute. I get so excited to hang out with you and then it never happens. I really do want to hang out with you! So, could you please try to pencil me into your busy schedule? |

Essay: When you choose to be assertive, you won't always get everything you want. With that in mind, why should you still choose to communicate assertively? Provide two reasons.
Student Answer: 1) You might not get anything you want if you lack assertiveness. It’s better to get some things you want than nothing at all.
2) It is a way to help make sure that every person involved has a chance to calmly and respectfully express their emotions and opinions. |
