I would develop a plan that may include asking the teacher for additional help, meeting up with a tutor, and practice using practice problems. I would plan to continue the process until I understood the concept. Then, I would monitor to make sure I was asking the teacher when I needed help, I would make sure I met weekly with the tutor, and I would make sure I was practicing daily.
