I know for a fact that I turned in my paper. If something happened to it after that, it isn't my fault. Maybe it was misplaced, or maybe it fell out of where you keep the homework.

I understand things come up suddenly, but if you make plans with me and I clear my schedule I expect you not to cancel on me. I clear my schedule so we can hang out and spend time together and you decide not to.

You won't have a chance of getting what you want if you always put other people before you. If you don't stand up for yourself people will walk all over you.
