I don’t like how you keep accusing me of turning in that homework late. I have shown you many times that it was on time and you still keep saying otherwise. I would really like it if you would look and see that I turned it in on time and not falsely accuse me. Thank you.

I don’t really appreciate that you keep cancelling plans last minute. You tell me you can have plans with me all the way up to the last second and then you tell me you can’t go. I would really appreciate if you could tell me at lease a few hours in advance if you won’t be able to go with me.

I think you should still communicate assertively because you can at least say you were being nice and respectful if that person later tells you it was because of the way you asked. You should still ask in a respectful manner because that is how you will be talking to future bosses or employees.
