If you want to make plans that is fine but if you keep canceling we’re not gonna be friends much longer. I want to hangout with you and I get excited when you make plans. Then you hurt my feelings by canceling it.

It makes it clear where you stand on certain positions. But you aren’t going to get mad so you have the best chance of solving problems.
