I would ask the teacher if they can look again to see when i turned my work in, I would make sure that they understand my view and that I understand their view.

I would ask if that friend can make sure that they can follow through with the plans they make. I would tell them that I feel like they don't really want to hang out with me because they keep cancelling the plans.

When you communicate, you are letting others know how you feel about something. In doing so you can understand your point of view and if they can, they should fix it. If not that okay, as long as you are letting others know how you feel and how you see it.
