I would have said no you can’t copy my homework because then you wont learn and its not good to copy but i can explain it you or you can ask the teacher for help.

Two reasons why assertiveness is important is because yelling at someone isnt going to help but saying it in a more explained tone helps them not being disrespectful towards someone or rude, my other reason is because its just respectful to yourself to show how you feel but not in a rude way but where they still understand.
