I would ask my teacher about it and address my struggle in this category. After all the effort and support they might have given me I would use that and if I still didn't get it I would ask someone who knows a lot and start from there. If I see that my grades arent improving after the academic support I will go to someone who specializes in that and ask for more support until I can confidently do the math.
