I would try different methods to help me understand it better. I would start with talking notes in a different way. I could write down bullet points to help me understand key factors. I could also draw pictures to visualize the notes. Another thing is jotting down examples of the math problems I'm having trouble with. The way I study should be helpful too. Making flash cards with the different vocabulary words and equations. I'd find random math problems on line ad solve those for more practice. After I would analyze each thing I did differently so I can use or not use some things next time.
