I turned in my homework on time, if there are measures you need to take to ensure that then you can, but I don't appreciate you accusing me of turning my homework in late.

I don't appreciate how you keep cancelling when we make plans. It makes me feel unimportant in your life. I ask that if you make plans with me, you follow through with them, or don't make plans at all.

You get a chance to show others you aren't afraid to speak up and this enables others to realize they can't walk all over you. It's also a good way to practice advocating for yourself in case of a serious situation where you need to be assertive and not cower.
