Asking the teacher for help is a first, if they can provide basic instruction that may clarify the concept then I should listen to their input. Secondly, reviewing the study material again, seeing if it's been put online for me to look at. Lastly, trying to find multiple ways to approach the subject until I find one that's best suited for said concept.
