While I understand that you think I turned this in late, I vividly remember turning this in on time because of how I worked on it beforehand. It is reasonable that you may have been unaware that I turned it in on time because I did not do it directly to you, but understand that regardless of that, it was still turned in before the deadline. Lastly, clearly there is a problem with turning in assignments in any way that isn't directly to you. So, in the future, would you like it if that was how I did things?

I understand that keeping the same level of enthusiasm with doing things is difficult and sometimes, stressful. But even though you have every right to cancel our plans, I still have every right to be mad at that. I canceled my other plans that day to hang out with you, denying people invitations and such so I could devote time to you. Next time, if you aren't entirely sure you will hang out with me, don't ask me at all.

1) You are setting boundaries for yourself, and keeping yourself surrounded by people who respect you and your boundaries.
2) You are setting an example that you aren't easily pushed around, and that you wont be walked over.
