I understand things come up, but being put to the side is very frustrating to me. I enjoy spending time with you, and when you continue to cancel plans, it makes me believe you do not feel the same. If you simply don't want to hang out, please just say it outright, and stop making plans you don't want to follow through with.

Bing not assertive enough can cause people to ignore what you say, and walk all over you, wharas being aggressive can cause people to withdraw from you company.
