i would try to calmly explain to my teacher that I am in fact not lying and instead chose to do the right thing and turn it in on time, and wrongfully accusing me when I know myself, didn't do anything wrong. If they still choose to be arrogant on the situation I would simply leave it, since they're making it a problem and I tried to explain it to them.

ask them why they keep canceling and if they don't answer it honestly or if I feel as if I'm being tricked then I'll choose to leave them be and not ask anything of them afterwards. I'd still be salty about it, but I'd choose to leave it be and leave them with their own problems if it comes to them having a problem with me, when I simply thought we were going to have a peaceful outing.

to get the message through to some people that I am not a doormat to be stepped on, it becomes annoying when they do it repetitively and think nothing of me, so talking about it may give them a piece of mind to stop being rude and interruptive when it comes to being with them. a second reason being to step up against them and let them know not everyone is wanting to deal with them and their behavior.
