I understand it may have seemed like I turned in my homework late, but I know I turned it in on time. You could recheck the date I turned it in, make sure you didn't mix me up with someone else, or whatever works best for you. I know you have other work to do and other things to turn in.

I understand life is busy, but you keep making plans with me and canceling last minute, giving me false hope leading to disappointment. It would be helpful for both of us if you checked what you have to do ahead of time before you make plans.
