Calmly and simply say that you didn’t turn it in late. Then show proof. So it dosnt happen again always turn work in on time.

Stop making plans then canceling last minuet. If u don’t want to go just say you don’t want to go it’s really not that hard. Or even ask someone else if they want to go with you last minute.

You want to communicate assertively so people can take you siriously in any situation. Also so you don’t feel like you didn’t get the message through.
